CEC has implemented precautionary measures quite soon during COVID-19 outbreak that put the whole nation on alert. Work-from-home (WFH) orders have been announced; meanwhile, the employees who are still working in the workplace start socially distancing their workforce by dividing workers into teams and stationing each team at a different location. To sanitize hands, wear surgical mask and check temperature is compulsory for everyone before entering the workplace. To wear face-shield is compulsory, too, in the production area. According to government regulation, all visitors need to conduct name registration so as to facilitate contact tracing. It goes without saying in-person meetings and workshops are forced to move online, changing the operations, dynamics, and tools to use. CEC endeavors to maintain the productivity of workers, and plans for business continuity and resilience. As CEC learns from current challenges, it strengthens our ability for future disruptions and risks.
